Baptism
Owing to the small number of parishioners, the Sacrament of Baptism is given by appointment.

Those who are interested in receiving this Sacrament for themselves or for their loved ones, are kindly asked to present themselves in the Parish Office and ask the Parish Priest for all the relative information.

One must keep in mind that the reception of this Sacrament as a child and as an adult is different.

As the Baptism day approaches those interested are requested to have a few preparatory meetings where the Sacrament and the Celebration of the Baptism itself will be explained.
From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
1213. "Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.  Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made shares in her mission:  'Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word'."

1276. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you (Mt.28:19-20)."

1280. "Baptism imprints on the soul an indelible spiritual sign, the character, which consecrates the baptized person for Christian worship.  Because of the character Baptism cannot be repeated."
