For the time being the Presbytery is made up of these three friars and two students who, though coming from different cultures and ways of life, left everything behind them to answer the Lord's call and give their service here in our Parish.
We, as "the" Parish whom they give service to, are asked to pray for them so that they can continue to be true to their vocation and maybe through their example, inspire others to follow the Franciscan way of life.
The Parish Presbytery is made up of the friars of the community living at 26 Cornwall Road, at the corner (with Whittlesey street) diagonally opposite the Church. They live together, and have scheduled regular meetings during which they discuss their fraternal life together, and their ministry and service in our Church. These meetings are held during the so called House Chapters - meeting where they discuss their fraternal life together in the community. Since there is no difference between the friars, except in the ministries they exercise, anyone in the friary can ask for a meeting if the need be. If the meeting is for something regarding the house/friary, the Guardian (superior of the house) calls for it; if what is to be discussed is something regarding the Parish, it is the Parish Priest's duty to do so.
